4:00pm to 8:00pm – Event Registration & Expo (non- shuttled riders only)

‍Venue: Start Line, Blend Expresso, on the main road, 17 Holyhead Street, SH87, Outram

• Entrant (145km riders and relay team riders) sign in.
• Final check of entry details, update of team members.
• Complete registration formalities.
• Pick up any pre-purchased gear bag ticket labels
• Collect race pack containing - electronic timing device, bike number plates, bike helmet & support vehicle number stickers, refuel drop bags, sponsors goodies and event merchandise (included in entry fee).
• Peruse the sponsors expo – try delectable samples, enter competitions and score some great deals on products from event sponsors.

‍NOTE: One tandem partner or team relay member can sign in and complete the registration formalities on behalf of the pair, however, if there has been a late change of tandem partner or team member not completed before online entries close at 12noon on Tuesday 19th January 2027, they must bring a completed copy of the change of team member form with the waiver, signed by the new team member. IMPORTANT: There is no early morning event registration on race day. Race packs must be picked up on Friday.

6:00pm to 8:00pm – Event Registration and loading of Shuttled Bikes (shuttled riders only)

Venue: Finish Line, Centennial Park, 80 Rivers Street, Alexandra.

NOTE: Riders bikes will be secured overnight and will arrive in Outram either with riders or be there waiting for riders to arrive

4:30am Sharp – Shuttle bus leaves Alexandra for Outram

Venue: Finish Line, Centennial Park, 80 Rivers Street, Alexandra.

NOTE: This will be a direct 2hr 30min non-stop journey, so shuttle riders are advised to have toileted before they board the bus.

6:30am to 7:30am – Handover of Unsupported Rider Refuel Drop Bags 1 & 2

Location: Event Trailers, parked outside Skerries Street Reserve, 10 Skerries Street, Outram.

Unsupported 145km riders must leave their Refuel Drop Bags 1 & 2 in the assigned event trailers taken to the respective Midway-Point (Refuelling Station 1) & ¾ Stage Point (Refuelling Station 2), by no later than 6:30am. Trailers will depart 20min before the race start.

5:450am to 6:45am – Handover of ticket holders Labelled Gear Bags

Location: Event Transport Shuttle Bus, parked outside Skerries Street Reserve, 10 Skerries Street, Outram.

Shuttled Riders & unsupported 145km riders who have purchased a gear bag ticket, must leave their labelled bag in the event transport Shuttle Bus before 6:45am. Bags will be transported to the Finish in Alexandra and be waiting for rider collection upon finishing.

7:45am – Prestart race briefing on the start line

Location: Between THE GOLDRUSH event flags, on the main street, Outram

IMPORTANT: It is mandatory all 145km Riders and Stage 1 8okm Team Relay riders attend the race briefing at the start. Any important and new information will be relayed verbally at this time. If any important and new information that may need to be conveyed to the Stage 2 65km Team Relay Rider, will be done so verbally at the Mid-way Point Transition.

8:00am & 8:10am (TBC) – Event Day staggered wave starts. ‍

Location: Between THE GOLDRUSH event flags, on the main street, Outram

Start times –

8:00am Start 1 – All 145km Riders (Mountain bike, Gravel Bikes, Tandem Bikes) and Team Relay Riders (Bib numbers in the 1000’s, 2000’s, 4000’s, 5000’s)

8:10am Start 2 – All 145 km E-Bikes (Bib numbers in the 3000’s)

1:00pm to 10:30pm – Finish line celebrations
